Just under 400 inhabitants, snowy winters and pleasantly cool summers with clear views of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina Nature Park. That’s how you could describe Riva di Tures in a few short words. The village, which is actually a part of the municipality of Campo Tures, naturally has much more to offer: no wonder, given that it lies in a high valley that is unusually wide and open, at an altitude of around 1,600 metres. Up here, the landscape opens up, the air is clear and the mountains seem close enough to touch. A true paradise for anyone who wants to experience the South Tyrolean mountains in their most unspoilt form. A place that helps you unwind whilst also making you want to get out and about.
