South Tyrol, with its many valleys and mountain passes, is the perfect setting for a great motorcycling adventure. With Riva di Tures as your starting point, a diverse area opens up, stretching from the Zillertal Alps deep into the Dolomites. Scenic mountain passes, full of bends and hairpin bends, wind their way through alpine landscapes – and Mediterranean destinations such as Lake Garda are just a day’s drive away.

This moderate day trip (approx. 200 km) takes you through the four Ladin valleys and over six legendary mountain passes around the Sella massif. A particular highlight is the unique Ladin culture along the route, as well as the panoramic views of Passo Sella and the Marmolada Glacier.

A simple, leisurely tour (approx. 220 km) linking Val Pusteria, Val Badia, Val Gardena and Valle Isarco. The route is characterised by dense forests, wide meadows and gentle mountain passes such as the Passo delle Erbe at the foot of Monte Putia – ideal for relaxing and taking in the views.

At around 260 km, this is the longest route, which is also suitable for beginners. It leads to Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude pasture, and to the Catinaccio massif. Highlights include the Val d’Ega gorge, Lago di Carezza and the spectacular alpenglow over the pale mountains.

This moderately difficult panoramic tour (approx. 250 km) takes you straight to South Tyrol’s world-famous landmark. Alongside the emerald-green Lago di Misurina and Monte Cristallo, the (toll road) journey to the Three Peaks is the highlight of the trip, both in terms of the drive and the scenery.

Tip: Make sure you have sturdy shoes for a short walk to the viewpoint.
