Sand in Taufers
Sand in Taufers, nicknamed „Sand“, is the main town in the Tauferer Ahrntal, and is found exactly in the middle of the valley.The imposing Zillertaler Alps stand behind the town, and looking forward one has a beautiful view into the Pustertal and the Dolomites.
The village is encircled by meadows, woods and mountains in perfect harmony with nature. Just as in the whole of the Tauferer Ahrntal, the locals and the hotels found here put much value on nature and biological products, so that guests receive only the best. The natural products and the natural experiences are bound to impress. An example would be the nearby Reiner waterfalls.
